    During summer, humpback whales feed in the rich waters around the Aleutian Islands.


    When winter arrives, they migrate south to the warm, calm waters around Okinawa to breed.


    The waters around Zamami Island, approximately 40 km west of Naha, are surrounded by beautiful coral reefs and are one of the areas where these magnificent whales can be seen.

    Weighing up to approximately 30 tons and reaching around 15 meters in length, humpback whales are truly spectacular to watch.

If you wish to change or cancel your reservation, the following cancellation or modification fees will apply.

Please note that any bank transfer fees incurred during the refund process are to be borne by the customer.

10 to 8 days prior to the scheduled date: 20% of the total fee

7 to 2 days prior to the scheduled date: 30% of the total fee

The day before the scheduled date: 50% of the total fee

The day of the scheduled date: 100% of the total fee

<Policy in the event that whales are not sighted>

・As whales are wild animals, there may be instances where we are unable to locate them and you do not get to see them. Please note in advance that no refunds will be issued in such cases.
However, if no whales are sighted during the period from February 1, 2027, to March 15, 2027, we will provide one of the following options:


<Applicable period: February 1, 2027 – March 15, 2027>


① Full refund (customer bears any applicable bank transfer fees)

② Re-boarding (valid until April 4, 2027)

*Please note that the periods from December 19, 2026, to January 31, 2027, and from March 16, 2027, to April 4, 2027, are excluded from these options.


However, please be aware that we cannot offer the above options if any of the following conditions are met:

● A whale's blow (spout) was sighted in the distance

● Multiple passengers were able to spot a whale


Additionally, please note that if your schedule prevents you from utilizing either option (① or ②), the right to these options will be forfeited.

<Regarding Whale Watching Tour Transfers (Departures from Naha Only)>
・We offer a complimentary transfer service exclusively for the 9:00 AM and 1:45 PM departures from Naha. Please note that this service is available on a first-come, first-served basis; if the transfer vehicle reaches capacity, we may be unable to provide the transfer service even if you have a tour reservation. If you have a rental car, we recommend proceeding directly to the port.
・Online reservations are accepted until 11:00 PM on the day prior to the tour. Please be aware that for tours departing from Naha, online reservations made after 3:00 PM do not include transfer services; participants must make their own way to the meeting point. Even if you select the transfer option, you will be required to meet at the location independently. Please also note that even with reservations made before 3:00 PM, the transfer service may already be fully booked.
・Transfer times and locations are fixed but are subject to change.

<For those arriving by rental car>
●From Naha●
Please set your car navigation system to "Naha Beachside Hotel."
Once you reach the "Naha Beachside Hotel," continue along the road until you arrive at the entrance to Miegusuku Port.
Enter through the parking gate and proceed to the waiting area with the white triangular roof, located towards the back on the right.
*Parking fee: 700 yen per vehicle.

<Important Notes>
・A minimum of 10 participants (departing from Naha) is required for the tour to proceed. The tour will be cancelled if this minimum is not met. Please note that the decision to cancel may be made as late as the day before the scheduled departure.
・The vessel used for the tour is subject to change without prior notice.
・Please be aware that the schedule may shift depending on whale sighting conditions.
・If whales are spotted, the observation time is scheduled to last approximately one hour.
However, please note that the tour may return to port early depending on sea conditions, whale activity, and the well-being of the passengers.
・Unlike in summer, the waters around Okinawa during the winter whale-watching season tend to have higher waves. Please be aware that boarding may be refused to infants or elderly passengers depending on sea conditions.
・For safety reasons, pregnant guests cannot participate, as the vibration of the boat's engine may have an adverse effect. We ask for your understanding.
・The tour may be cancelled or the schedule changed depending on weather conditions.
・We will contact you if the tour is cancelled due to bad weather or other reasons. In such cases, refunds will be issued via bank transfer; please note that if the tour does not take place due to weather, the customer is responsible for any bank transfer fees.
・Please make your own arrangements for cold-weather and waterproof gear.
・If you are prone to seasickness, we recommend taking motion sickness medication.
・Please note that wearing a life jacket is mandatory for safety reasons.
・Please be sure to read the terms and conditions of travel when booking.

Remarks, others

    *Please note that for online reservations from 3:00 PM onwards, shuttle service is not available; you must make your own way to the meeting point. Even if you select the shuttle service option, you will still be required to meet at the location independently.*
